I had the most amazing time meeting little brother Clarke, the newest member of the H family!!! I wanted to capture their family just the way it is right now so they will be able to look back at this fleeting phase in their lives and remember what it was like to have a 3 year old and a newborn in the house. Big brother R was such a proud boy and did not hesitate to express his love for little C. His dad was very attentive to his needs so his mom could nurture the newborn baby. I really enjoyed getting a peek into their lives and feel honored they asked me to document this special time.

Congratulations H family! I am so excited to see how all of you bond and change over the years.

OH MY GOODNESS! This cute little chunk of love was so fun to photograph. He is 4 months old and has his mommy and daddy wrapped around his finger. How could you not drop everything you are doing to make this guy smile? Congratulations B family. Your baby could not be any cuter and he is such a sweetheart.

I think most parents would agree that with the beginning of a family comes a new realization of the cadence of life. I can’t believe how quickly Blake has gone from a wrinkly little newborn to a chunky barely rolling baby to now an adventure enthusiast toddler. I want to see him grow, but I also hate parting with each stage of his life and knowing I can never get that back…

Photography is my way of holding on to these valuable memories I have of my baby. Someday when he’s a competent man and I a wise old woman, I will look back at these images and remember how it felt to be with this little Blake at 15 months in his life. I don’t ever want to forget this feeling of being a mommy.
